Get a closer look

For CQUniversity’s 2024 Open Day campaign, the goal was to invite prospective students to come see CQU life for themselves. I was involved from the early stages of concept development, helping shape the campaign’s core message, “Get a Closer Look,” which encouraged curiosity and real connection with campus life.

I contributed to the storyboarding phase, working to visualise how the idea could play out across different mediums. From there, I brought the concept to life on set and later translated it into fully developed creative assets.

As the creative lead, I travelled to Rockhampton in May for a two-day shoot. I worked closely with the client, photographer, and talent to capture a variety of scenes, making sure everything matched the tone of the campaign and would suit multiple formats. Locations included the library, engineering labs, medical training rooms, the on-campus café, green screen studio, and more.

Once back in the studio, I led the creation of Motion graphics and video content for social and digital out-of-home screens and Hero digital collateral.
