Koko Grill is an intimate, open-air teppan grill and sushi restaurant located right on the beach at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. A key feature of the dining experience is being seated at eye level with the horizon, fully immersing guests in the stunning natural surroundings.

The logo design was inspired by this feeling of connection with the horizon line, while the colour palette draws from the soft pastel tones of dusk and dawn when the sky beautifully blends with water and sand. This creates a sense of tranquility that complements the restaurant’s serene oceanfront setting. Additionally, the design nods to Japanese culture through subtle references to zen gardens and the calming sand patterns within them, tying the brand to both place and tradition.
